How you can join us in making a positive community impact
At the CNE Foundation, we are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of individuals and the community through our community and youth programs. These initiatives are made possible through the generous support of the CNE community, and people like you. There are a number of ways that you can help and that suit a variety of individual and group giving goals.
| Financial Gift We are grateful for one-time, monthly, or annual monetary gifts from individuals and corporations. You can choose to support general Foundation activities or direct your gift to a specific program. You can donate online or you can send a cheque by mail. Donations of $20 or more are eligible for a charitable tax receipt. | 50/50 Raffle Ticket Purchase The CNE Foundation hosts electronic 50/50 raffle fundraisers during the annual CNE and throughout the year. Your 50/50 ticket purchase helps support our community and youth programs, including community grants, scholarships, and youth sports and arts programs. |
| Matching Gift Individuals and corporations can amplify the support of the CNE community through matching partnerships. Through this initiative, you can match gifts made by individuals, up to the set amount. | In-Kind Donation If you or your organization are able to contribute in-kind products or services in support of a CNE Foundation program or event, we’d love to hear from you. |
| Gift In Memory or In Honour For many of us, the CNE is a cherished family tradition. You can make a financial gift to the CNE Foundation in memory of a loved one, in honour of someone special, or to mark an occasion or milestone. | Workplace or Group Fundraising Corporate and social groups are able to fundraise on behalf of the CNE Foundation. Through our online system, we are able to set up a unique landing page to help get word out at your workplace or among your group, and process online donations. |
| Planned Giving With your planned gift – such as a bequest in your will or other deferred gift such as life insurance or securities – you can support CNE Foundation programs into the future and benefit from tax savings. | Endowment Fund An endowment fund with the CNE Foundation allows you to establish a permanent fund in your name or in honour of a loved one. The income from your fund is directed as per your wishes in support of a CNE Foundation program. |
