What are the dates of the 2019 CNE?
The dates for the 2019 CNE are August 16 until September 2.
What are the dates and hours of the Casino
The CNE Casino runs from July 27 until September 2, 2019 from Noon to 6 am each day, except for Labour Day. The CNE Casino is open from Noon to 8 pm on Labour Day. Please note that the Casino will be closed on Saturday August 3, 2019.
What time do buildings open/close?
All buildings are open from 10 am to 10 pm, except on Labour Day. Building hours on Labour Day are 10 am to 7 pm.
What time do the grounds open/close?
The grounds are open from 10 am to midnight, except on Labour Day. On Labour Day the grounds are open from 10 am to 9 pm, and the gates close at 5 pm.
What time does the Midway open/close?
The midway is open from 11 am to midnight on weekdays and 10 am to midnight on weekends.
What forms of payment can I use to purchase tickets at the gate?
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit, Visa Debit, and cash are accepted forms of payment when purchasing tickets at the gate. All charges will be made in Canadian funds.

Is it possible to purchase tickets online?
2019 tickets are not currently for sale.
How do I get help in purchasing online tickets?

Do the vendors at the CNE accept debit/credit?
Debit and credit machines are not mandatory for CNE vendors. They use them at their own discretion. There are ATMs available throughout the grounds and in most buildings.
Can I access the CNE grounds if I have a ticket for the Budweiser Stage and BMO Field?
Yes, you can access the CNE grounds for free with your Budweiser Stage and BMO Field ticket.
Can I re-enter the CNE grounds if I leave?
Yes you can. Please ensure you ask for a hand stamp before you leave and you can re-enter on the same day.
Are there ATMs located on the CNE grounds?
ATMs are located throughout the CNE grounds and in all buildings. Stay tuned for 2019 locations!
Is there free WiFi at the CNE?

Can I smoke on the grounds?
Smoking is allowed on the CNE grounds with the exception of all buildings and within 9 metres of Kids’ World. Please be considerate of other guests when smoking in designated areas.
Can I purchase cigarettes on the CNE grounds?
Cigarettes are not sold on the CNE grounds.
Are there wagons available for rent?
Yes, wagons are available for rent at Information Booths at the following locations:
- Princes’ Gate;
- GO/TTC Gate and
- Princess Margaret Fountain
The wagons are available from 10 am to 10 pm at a rate of $10 per day. A $50 refundable deposit is required along with a piece of ID. Stay tuned for Information Booth wagon rental locations!
Are there strollers available for rent?
There are no strollers available for rent at the CNE, but you can rent wagons at Information Booths located at the Princes’ Gate, GO/TTC Gate and Princess Margaret Fountain.
What is the CNE’s weather policy?
With a variety of indoor and outdoor activities taking place during the 18 days of the fair, the CNE operates rain or shine. Some outdoor attractions or shows may be postponed or cancelled in the event of an electrical storm for the safety of both CNE performers and visitors. In this case, where stage performances are concerned, an announcement will be made from the stage.

Where can I park at the CNE?
The CNE has two off-site lots and a number of on-site lots. The parking rate at our onsite lots is $30 to $35, depending on the day.
Where can I park my bicycle at the CNE?
Parking for bicycles are available
- outside the Saskatchewan Gate (west end near Dufferin) and
- at the Princes' Gates (east end of grounds at Strachan).
