Toronto Arrows

In the Arrows late-season week 16 clash against Old Glory DC, the Arrows were trailing by 11 points and in danger of seeing the match slip away. Toronto found its magic moment through the in-form scrum-half Andrew Ferguson. Collecting a tipped pass of the lineout, the scrum-half performed a little show-and-go to slip past the defensive line, chipped the fullback, and raced to retrieve. Danny Tusitala appeared to have been in position to collect the ball first, but at the final second Ferguson overtook his counterpart to catch, dive, and score a try-of-the-season contender. It was a fitting game-changing moment to secure a season sweep over Old Glory.

The Toronto Arrows are the first and only professional rugby union team in Canada. While the pandemic forced the Arrows to play their 2021 season away from home in Atlanta, the Arrows can’t wait to get back to Toronto in the spring and summer of 2022 to play in front of our passionate fans!
