Ambassador of the Fairs

For more than 40 years, young representatives from fairs across Ontario have competed to become the Ambassador of the Fairs. This year-long title takes the winner across Ontario as a representative of the CNE and all agricultural fairs. 

Since its inception in 1971, more than 3000 young people from 100 communities throughout the province, have taken part in this illustrious contest. This year the event took place at the CNE from August 19 to August 21, with the winner crowned on August 21 in the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.  

The 2016 Ambassador of the Fairs competition took place on August 19 to 21, and the winner was announced on August 21! The winner of the 2016 competition was Amy Natyshak from the Comber Fair (Comber Agricultural Society)
