About the Eamonn O’Loghlin Scholarship for Post-Secondary Students

In 2013, we introduced the inaugural Eamonn O'Loghlin Scholarship Fund to honour the memory of Eamonn O'Loghlin, the Canadian National Exhibition's Director of Sponsorship and Partnerships, who passed away suddenly in January 2013. The scholarship was established to help post-secondary students, employed by the CNE, pursue their studies and also to honour the indomitable spirit of Eamonn O'Loghlin, recognizing his love for Canada and his commitment to youth and the community.

2019 Scholarship Recipients

After careful consideration of all applications and personal essay responses on the topic of employment barriers faced by youth, the scholarship selection committee selected Jee Wee Park, Yaping Dong and Lauren Elayas as the 2019 recipients. Thank you to all who applied and congratulations to the winners!
