About CNE Foundation Community Grants
At the CNE Foundation, we are committed to supporting organizations that share our community vision and whose mandates fall within one of our core funding pillars. Each year, we award a limited number of grants to local qualifying Canadian registered charities (qualified donees) committed to furthering our areas of focus: Agriculture and the Environment, Arts and Culture, Industry and Entrepreneurship, and Community Building.
We are honored to be able to support community organizations such as the Parkdale Activity-Recreation Centre. With funding from the CNE Foundation, the PARC team was able to purchase musical instruments for their Jam Band program – a program that provides adults with the opportunity to express themselves and connect with others through music. “For many people, music is an escape, but for our members music is a part of a journey involving healing, growth, self-determination and empowerment.”
