HorseCapades

A delightful and FREE introduction to horses, the CNE’s interactive horse program CNE HorseCapades returns again this year taking place at the CNE Horse Palace from August 4th to August 15th from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Designed for the young and the young at heart, HorseCapades will sweep you away from city life and into the magical world of the horse. Giddy up!

The HorseCapades program will once again feature the sensational Trick Riding Show: HorsePower Live. Two shows held daily in the CNE Horse Palace at 11:30am and 1:00pm.

  • Pet a horse
  • Pony Rides
  • Guess a horse’s weight
  • Meet horse friends

During the fair, elements of the HorseCapades program are moved from the Horse Palace to the Farm in the Better Living Centre’s West Side.

Reservations must be made by groups 10+.There is limited capacity and space fills quickly. The reservation request form is now available. Reservations are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pony Rides - A camp staff, parent or guardian must be available to assist their children to mount/dismount the ponies and remain within the pony enclosure during the riding time.

This same safety rule will apply to the mechanical horse simulators as well.

Day camps, daycares, etc. must ensure proper supervision of all their children in all activity areas while visiting HorseCapades

During weekdays there will be a CNE train waiting by the Fountain to drive participants to HorseCapades
