Agriculture Adventures
The CNE introduces a new FREE experience in the city – Agriculture Adventures presented by the CNE Farm! This event will feature a variety of fun interactive educational activities. Focusing on agricultural trends of today and horticulture wisdom of the past, the event will offer games, agricultural crafts, play time in the straw pyramid and more!
In addition, Valerie King of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nations will share the stories behind indigenous gardens, and Boreal Agri-Innovation Inc. will present educational seed planting workshops for children. Participants will be able to take home their newly planted seeds to watch them come to fruition.
The Agriculture Adventures experience will also display photography from previous agricultural fairs, indigenous healing plants, photo op corner, vertical and indoor gardens.
Visit the Better Living Centre from July 24th to August 2nd between 11:00am to 2:00pm to experience all the fun! Please note: there is limited capacity and space fills quickly. The reservation request form is now available. Reservations are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
