Participants vote on four (4) set, non-alcoholic, fair-themed beverage flavours (“Flavours”) in a single-elimination tournament bracket-style voting scheme. The Contest consists of three (3) rounds of voting (“Voting Rounds”): Round One; Round Two; and the Final:
vs. Flavour two
vs. Flavour four
vs. Round Two Winning Flavour
Specific drink Flavours and matchups for Round One and Round Two are to be announced. The Flavours that accumulate the highest number of votes in Round One and Round Two win (hereinafter referred to as the “Round One Winning Flavour” and the “Round Two Winning Flavour”, respectively). The Round One Winning Flavour and the Round Two Winning Flavour advance to the Final. The Flavour that accumulates the highest number of votes in the Final becomes the Coca-Cola Freestyle Flavour of the Fair.
To enter, an individual: visits the contest website (theex.com/fairflavours) during each Voting Round; casts his/her vote for his/her preferred Flavour from among the options provided in that particular Voting Round; and provides his/or her contact information.
Each participant receives one entry for his/her submission. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person per Voting Round, for a maximum of three (3) entries per person during the Contest period. In the event that the CNEA receives more than one (1) entry per person per Voting Round, as decided in the sole discretion of the CNEA, the CNEA reserves the right to disqualify all entries from that participant. Since the Contest application does not retain contact information, each participant must re-enter his/her complete contact information with each entry. It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure the accuracy of his/her contact information at the time of each entry.
Ten (10) participants will be randomly selected from among all valid entries received in each of the three (3) Voting Rounds, for a total of thirty (30) Voting Round winners ("Voting Round Winners"). One participant will be randomly selected from among all valid entries received during the Contest period to win the Grand Prize (“Grand Prize Winner”). Each Voting Round Winner and Grand Prize Winner will be required to present photo identification that matches the contact information in his/her winning entry.
A Voting Round draw will be held following the close of each Voting Round Question. Each Voting Round draw will take place at the Toronto, Ontario offices of the CNEA from among all valid entries received in that given Voting Round. Voting Round Winners will be contacted via the email address and/or telephone number provided with their winning Voting Round entry. It is the sole responsibility of the participant to ensure the accuracy of the contact information submitted at the time of the Voting Round entry. Voting Round Prizes cannot be carried over to the following CNE season. Each Voting Round Winner must contact the CNEA by no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2016, to make arrangements for his/her prize. A Voting Round Winner’s failure to contact the CNEA by the appropriate date and time forfeits his/her prize. A skill-testing question must be answered to win. Odds of winning vary with the number of valid entries received during each Voting Round.
The Grand Prize random draw will take place at the Toronto, Ontario offices of the CNEA on Monday, August 15, 2016, from among all valid entries received on or before the Contest Closing Date. One participant will be selected as the Grand Prize Winner. Odds of winning vary with the number of valid entries received by the Contest Closing Date.
Following the Grand Prize draw, the Grand Prize Winner will be contacted by telephone and email. If the CNEA is unable to reach the Grand Prize Winner by 4 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2016, for whatever reason, including the inability for the CNEA to reach the Grand Prize Winner due to inaccurate contact information supplied on the Contest entry or because the Grand Prize Winner is unavailable, the CNEA reserves the right to select a new winner from remaining entries. A skill-testing question must be answered to win.
