Opening Ceremonies & the First Family

A ceremonial parade  launched the 132nd Canadian National Exhibition. The official ceremony took place in front of the historic Princes’ Gates  This year the event commemorated the 100th Anniversary of the Canadian Navy with the distinquished presence of Commodore Daniel Sing, OMM, CD and featured The National Band of the Naval Reserve. Masters of Ceremonies for the event were CBC News Network's Jacquie Perrin and CBC Radio’s Jill Dempsey.
